Daniel Craig spoke candidly
about James Bond role and its future in an interview with TimeOut.
Daniel Craig went on to say that
if he were to decide to go ahead with another Bond movie that "it would
only be for the money."
Whenever he does choose to hang
up the Aston Martin keys, Craig did say that he would have one bit of advice
for his successor.
"The gamble has coincided with the return of Tom Hardy to
Bond favouritism, so it would seem likely that there is a lot going on in the
background."
For the first time the British bookmaker is quoting 16/1 that
the next OO7 will be a woman and Emily Blunt is 25/1 to be that first female.
The bookmaker firmly believes upcoming film Spectre will be
Craig’s final film as Bond and go 1/2 that will be the case.
"Look, I don't give a f---.
Good luck to them," Craig said when asked if he cared who played Bond
next. "All I care about is that if I stop doing these things we've left it
in a good place and people pick it up and make it better."
Right now, the blue-eyed Bond,
who appears next in "Spectre," can't fathom doing another 007 film.
So Tom Hardy will be the next James Bond, according to bookies.
Every actor from Damien Lewis to Idris Elba and even Emily Blunt
have been in the running to be Daniel Craig's successor but now the bookies
think they have their man.
